Catering

Saucy Shawn’s specializes in Buffett Style meals. The size and style of the meals are only limited by facilities available and budgets.

Our most popular meal is our Roast Beef Dinner with fresh, homemade dinner roils. You just can’t beat this classic.

Saucy recognizes that there are individuals that have special dietary requirements and we will work with you to try and meet their needs. Where possible all dishes do not include gluten. We hesitate to say gluten-free as we do bake buns in the same kitchen and we cannot guarantee that there is no contamination. We say this to be fully transparent, we want you to be comfortable with your choices. We really do understand and care. Even our Gravy is made with rice flour and is naturally gluten friendly.

We can work with you to create a menu that works for you. We are not limited to a set menu. Look though the lists below for some ideas.

Camp Catering

So you are planning a Church Family Camp. You have 200 people signed up. How do you know how much to feed them, how to create the menu, how much to buy?

Well, that is where Saucy comes in. With out many years of camp cooking experience we can do all of that for you.

We have cooked for many large camp groups. Here is how this normally works.

1) You call us and say Help! We discuss where you plan on having the camp, how many people you expect, what kinds of foods you are looking for and budget.

2) Saucy prepares a menu plan. We go over the menu with you and agree on a price. There are variables in the price, the main one being who does the dishes. If you choose to do them you will save money.

3) You keep Saucy up to date on dietary restrictions so we can determine a course of action. We will do our best to meat them all, but sometimes……

4) 2 weeks prior to the camp you give Saucy your final numbers and a deposit. If more people show up than expected, then the invoice gets adjusted to add them. If less people show up, the invoice is not adjusted.

5) You arrive at camp and start enjoying delicious food without all the work. At the end of the camp Saucy leaves a clean kitchen for the next users.
